Baseball Recap: Newman International Academy Takes a Loss

Newman International Academy fell victim to Seguin and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Seguin Cougars, falling 17-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Newman International Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Seguin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Newman International Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Newman International Academy at 12:00 p.m. on April 19th. As for Seguin, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Howe at 9:00 a.m.
