Softball Recap: Daleville Drops Highest Score of Season Against Poplar Springs

Daleville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Poplar Springs Atomics, falling 21-5. One positive for the Warhawks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Daleville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daleville will host Dale County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Poplar Springs, they will face off against Malone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Poplar Springs is facing Malone at the right time seeing as Malone is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
