Baseball Game Preview: Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions vs. Booker T. Washington Tornadoes

The Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions will square off against the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Immaculata-La Salle is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Doral Academy just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Firebirds, falling 9-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Royal Lions have suffered since February 13th.

Meanwhile, Booker T. Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 11-2 to Miami.

Booker T. Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Immaculata-La Salle, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.

Immaculata-La Salle took their victory against Booker T. Washington in their previous matchup back in April of 2015 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Royal Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
