Volleyball Game Preview: McIntosh Chiefs vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles + Official Tickets

The McIntosh Chiefs will take on the Woodward Academy War Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as McIntosh comes in on seven and Woodward Academy on eight.

McIntosh is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Sequoyah as they made off with a 3-0 win.

McIntosh got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braelyn Ottolini out in front who had 21 assists and four digs. Ottolini is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Hastee Mehdipour also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Woodward Academy faced Pope in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The War Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Greyhounds.

McIntosh's victory bumped their record up to 41-9. As for Woodward Academy, their win bumped their record up to 37-6.
