Soccer Recap: Owosso Comes Up Short

Owosso lost against Lake Fenton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans lost 8-1 to the Blue Devils. Owosso just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Owosso's record is now 2-7. As for Lake Fenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Owosso and Lake Fenton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Trojans will challenge Goodrich at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (347 vs. 29). Meanwhile, Lake Fenton (ranked 234th) will meet Fenton (ranked 113th) at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
