Levi Stark tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brendan Zeller, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Clark, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs.
Inglemoor hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive games.
Bellevue hit Highline with a four-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates came up short against the Wolverines, falling 10-3.
Jeevan Parail was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Caleb Mason also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Highline's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Inglemoor, their win bumped their record up to 10-4.
Highline's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. Inglemoor has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game.
