Basketball Recap: East Helena Comes Up Short

East Helena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Lockwood LIONS and fell 83-46. While losing is never fun, the Vigilantes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the LIONS are ranked 14th).

East Helena's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lockwood, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-2.

East Helena has already played their next match (against Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lockwood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 88-63 win against Laurel on the 18th.
