Baseball Recap: Concord Yellowjackets vs. Maple Valley Lions
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Summerfield, Concord was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Maple Valley Lions. The Yellowjackets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Concord's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Charlie Cole, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
