Soccer Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Veritas/Tenor by a score of 2-1. Whitewater have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Veritas/Tenor, they pushed their record up to 8-0-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Whitewater will square off against Delavan-Darien at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitewater's defense better be ready for this one: Delavan-Darien have averaged an impressive 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Veritas/Tenor, they will take on Eastbrook Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
