Allijah Harrison Delivers Electric Effort Vs White
Starting off the list is Newman Smith's Allijah Harrison, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Harrison rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Harrison is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season.
The win (which was Newman Smith's fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Harrison's next contest is against Turner on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

North Mesquite was led to victory by Eliceo Cardona, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Cardona forced a fumble, made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss), and defended a pass.
North Mesquite moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. Cardona and North Mesquite will head out on the road to face off against Molina at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
