Baseball Recap: Isabella Takes a Loss

Isabella fell victim to Tuscaloosa Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Knights, falling 10-0.

Isabella saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Porter, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Isabella's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-16.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Isabella will square off against Greene County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, they will head out to take on Oak Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
