Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union County). They put the hurt on the Murray Tigers with a sharp 22-1 victory on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Union County's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Murray, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Union County beat the Tigers by a score of 21-1 later that day.
