Basketball Recap: Sipsey Valley Comes Up Short

Sipsey Valley saw some tournament action on Monday. They fell 48-41 to the Oak Mountain Eagles.

Kasen Lemons was his usual excellent self, putting up 16 points for Oak Mountain. Lemons' big performance that afternoon made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Javon Stone, who posted seven points.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Oak Mountain, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Coming up, Sipsey Valley will square off against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oak Mountain, they will challenge Spain Park at 7:30 p.m. on December 3.
