Basketball Recap: Bellows Free Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Bellows Free Academy hadn't done well against Missisquoi Valley recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Bellows Free Academy Bullets snuck past the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds with a 38-34 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bullets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Bellows Free Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Missisquoi Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellows Free Academy will face off against Danville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellows Free Academy is facing Danville at the right time seeing as Danville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Missisquoi Valley, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds face off against the Mt. Abraham Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Abraham will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Missisquoi Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
