Softball Recap: Cy-Fair Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cy-Fair can now relate to. They lost 9-0 to the Katy Tigers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Thursday.

Cy-Fair's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Katy, the victory (which was their 19th in a row) raised their record to 36-1.

While Cy-Fair had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Sunday.
