Softball Recap: Mckinney Boyd Extends Winning Streak to Three

McKinney Boyd entered their tilt with Birdville on Friday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Birdville Hawks. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 7-1 win the Hawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2021.

McKinney Boyd got a big performance out of Brayden Smith, who scored two runs and stole two bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Addyson Lewis, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

McKinney Boyd now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Birdville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

McKinney Boyd has already played their next game, a 6-1 loss against Marcus on the 21st. As for Birdville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 5-2 victory against Hebron on the 21st.
