Softball Recap: Lake Shore Shorians vs. Warren Woods-Tower Titans

Lake Shore faced Warren Woods-Tower in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Shorians had just enough and edged out the Titans 8-7. While the Shorians didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Sophia VanDenstorm made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits (and not a single walk).
