St. Croix Lutheran barely beat New Life Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crusaders' defense stepped up to hand the Eagles a 3-0 shutout on Sunday. Considering St. Croix Lutheran have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

St. Croix Lutheran pushed their record up to 8-4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for New Life Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6-1.

St. Croix Lutheran will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
