Soccer Recap: Fort Worth Christian Falls to Grapevine Faith Christian in First Game of Season

Fort Worth Christian kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions by a score of 2-1. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2016.

Grapevine Faith Christian is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-1-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Fort Worth Christian face off against the Coram Deo Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they will welcome North Central Texas Academy on Tuesday.
