Volleyball Recap: Franklin Monroe Takes a Loss

Franklin Monroe was the 3-1 winner over Dixie when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Jets lost 3-0 to the Greyhounds on Tuesday. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Franklin Monroe was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23, 25-12.

Alivia Addis paced Franklin Monroe's offense, picking up five kills. Addis got some help from Brooklyn Miller and her 12 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Teegan Miller, who had 22 assists and 11 digs. Miller is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

Franklin Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Dixie, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-8 record.

Franklin Monroe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Bradford on the 18th. As for Dixie, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Newton Local on the 18th.
