The Concord Academy Eagles put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 63-55 victory over 1 of 1 Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Concord Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aaliyah Mack, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Smith, who scored 17 points.
Concord Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for 1 of 1 Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.
