Basketball Recap: Christian Fellowship Eagles vs. Calloway County Lakers
Christian Fellowship was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 76-16 defeat at the hands of the Calloway County Lakers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Lakers are ranked 16th).
Calloway County's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sayler Lowe, who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points in addition to six steals and five boards. What's more, Lowe also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Jaidan Koch was another key player, going 6 for 11 on her way to 12 points along with eight assists and six rebounds.
