Basketball Recap: Lehman Triumphs

Lehman came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They escaped with a win on Friday against the Rockport-Fulton Pirates by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51.

Leading Lehman to victory were Isaac Rivas and Rolando (Rj) Luna. Rivas dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards, while Luna went 7 of 13 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. That's the most rebounds Rivas has posted since back in January.

Lehman's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Rockport-Fulton, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Lehman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 40-29 defeat against Austin Royals HomeSchool on the 28th. As for Rockport-Fulton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-38 loss against Hyde Park on the 27th.
