Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Granger). They never let the Chilton Pirates get on the board and left with a 39-0 win on Friday. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 8.3 runs per game.

Arianna Herrera made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Skyla Thorsen was a standout: she got on base in all six of her plate appearances with five runs, seven RBI, and one triple. What's more, she posted four hits, the most she's had since back in February. Abi Crouch was another key player, going 5-for-6 with five runs, five RBI, and two doubles.

Granger was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .828. They are undefeated (4-0) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
