Baseball Recap: Nashua North Titans vs. Nashua South Purple Panthers

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Nashua North ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top against the Nashua South Purple Panthers by a score of 7-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Nolan Sullivan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out 13 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 5-for-5 with two doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those doubles marked the first that he has hit this season.
