Volleyball Recap: Bad Axe Takes a Loss

Bad Axe was the 2-0 winner over Laker when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Hatchets fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Bad Axe actually scored more points across those five sets (106-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-18, 11-25, 19-25, 16-14.

Bad Axe has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Laker, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11-2.

Bad Axe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Cass City on the 7th. As for Laker, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Unionville-Sebewaing on the 7th.
