Basketball Recap: Regan Tanner Key Part of a Team Effort in Kavaliers Win

Kenston Forest's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Regan Tanner, who posted 12 points. Those 12 points gave Tanner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Grizzard, who had four points.

Kenston Forest smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Kenston Forest's record is now 6-7. As for Tidewater Academy, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Kenston Forest will look to defend their home court on Monday against Southampton Academy at 7:00 p.m. As for Tidewater Academy, they will head out to face off against Fuqua at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
