Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arlington). They never let the Canyon Springs Cougars get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Tuesday. With that victory, the Lions brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
The team relied heavily on Lorena Ricasa, who fired off three triples, four runs, and three RBI while going 4-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahdrie Martinez, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Arlington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Canyon Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
