Basketball Preview: Patel Trailblazers vs. Sports Leadership & Management Spartans        
        
		
             The Patel Trailblazers will challenge the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully Patel focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up 11 on Friday.
 Patel is headed into the  game out to prove that what happened against Bell Creek Academy  on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Patel had to suffer through a   78-26 loss at the hands of Bell Creek Academy. The Trailblazers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  54-15.
  Neveah Davis put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  scored nine points.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Sports Leadership & Management). They claimed a resounding  64-36 win over Cambridge Christian. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
 Sports Leadership & Management found their leader in sophomore  Aleyah Hall, who  dropped  a double-double on 23 points and 14  steals.  Skylar Payne was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 14 points and nine  steals.
 Sports Leadership & Management  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Sports Leadership & Management's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Patel, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
