Quanah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 25-24 heartbreaker at the hands of the Floydada Whirlwinds. On the bright side, the 24- run effort marked the Indians' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Quanah's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Floydada, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quanah will square off against Clarendon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Broncos have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Floydada, they will host Lockney at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
