Mercy is a perfect 10-0 against Harker since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Mercy has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mercy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Burlingame just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 11-5 to the Panthers.

Aveline Anderson was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Harker fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Independence on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the 76ers by a score of 7-6. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Harker suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Mercy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Everything went Mercy's way against Harker in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as Mercy made off with a 19-2 win. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
