After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Weatherford, Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Woodward Boomers a 6-0 shutout. Clinton might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by three goals or more this season.

Clinton now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Woodward, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clinton will square off against rival Harding Prep at 5:30 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, Woodward is set to take on their familiar foe Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
