Volleyball Recap: Christian Home Educators Fellowship Takes Down Shreveport Homeschool Sports in a Playoff Battle

Christian Home Educators Fellowship had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Shreveport HomeSchool Sports Force on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Patriots, who have now won three contests in a row.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-14.

Rose Barraco was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven aces and five digs. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

Barraco wasn't the only good servers: Christian Home Educators Fellowship was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in six consecutive matches.

Christian Home Educators Fellowship's record now sits at 13-4. As for Shreveport HomeSchool Sports, the loss snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 15-5 record.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Christian Home Educators Fellowship and Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. Shreveport HomeSchool Sports does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
