Basketball Recap: Dylan Gilderhus' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rogers over Emerald Ridge

Rogers lost against Emerald Ridge back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rogers Rams took a 79-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Emerald Ridge Jaguars.

Rogers' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dylan Gilderhus, who went 11-for-18 to rack up 36 points. Those 36 points gave Gilderhus a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Treyshawn Weatherspoon, who went 5-for-12 on his way to 19 points.

Rogers' defeat dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Emerald Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Rogers nor Emerald Ridge have any future games scheduled.
