Baseball Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 24-2 to the Interboro Buccaneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Clippers of the 11-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Chester saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacoby Roman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Chester's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Interboro, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chester is set to square off against their familiar foe Academy Park at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Interboro will challenge rival Chichester at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
