Softball Recap: Jordan's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

Jordan and Kingwood squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Jordan had to settle for second. They fell 6-2 to the Mustangs. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jordan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Jansky, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Jordan moved to 25-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Kingwood, they pushed their record up to 29-4-1 with the win, which was their 30th straight at home dating back to last season.

While Jordan had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
