West had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-2 to make it four. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 33-32 win over the Foothill Trojans. Foothill's loss came despite strong showings from Martin Velasquez and Andrew Trevino. Velasquez rushed for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Trevino rushed for 141 yards and one TD.
West wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 42-26 loss against Tehachapi on the 17th. As for Foothill, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-0 win against Del Oro on the 17th.
