Tampa Catholic posted their closest win since February 26th on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Carrollwood Day Patriots 4-3. The Crusaders haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Jose Carrero was incredible, going 2-for-6 with one home run and three RBI.

Tampa Catholic's record now sits at 13-3. As for Carrollwood Day, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Tampa Catholic will be playing at home against Armwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tampa Catholic is facing Armwood at the right time seeing as Armwood is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Carrollwood Day, they will take on Sickles in a tournament on Tuesday. Sickles will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Carrollwood Day surely won't give up without a fight.
