Football Recap: Western Brown Broncos vs. Hillsboro Indians
Western Brown gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Hillsboro Indians 42-39. The win was some much needed relief for the Broncos as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Western Brown was led to victory by Justin Morgan and Brady Sutton. Morgan gained 220 total yards and two touchdowns, while Sutton rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown. Western Brown also got help from Lucas Powell, who showed off his sure hands for 118 receiving yards.
