Baseball Recap: North RedHawks vs. Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles

North extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 10-10 in the process. They came up short against the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Golden Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Thursday.

As for Bishop Carroll, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-5. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

For Bishop Carroll's part, they got a great performance from Hayes Allen as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Allen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Judd Blasi was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Aedyn Acosta was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Carroll, they will challenge Northwest on Monday.
