Soccer Recap: Barbe Comes Up Short

Barbe and St. Joseph's Academy squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Barbe had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while the Redstickers are ranked first).

Barbe's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-3. As for St. Joseph's Academy, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-1-1.

As of now, neither Barbe nor St. Joseph's Academy have any future games scheduled.
