Baseball Recap: Apple Valley Comes Up Short

Apple Valley lost against Eastview back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Lightning by a score of 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apple Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Eastview, they moved to 4-14 with that victory, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Apple Valley will square off against Eagan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Eastview, they will challenge Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
