Basketball Recap: Oak Knoll Takes a Loss

Oak Knoll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 52-44 to the Cranford Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 40-23 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Oak Knoll's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cranford, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Knoll will take on Union Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Union Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Oak Knoll surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cranford, they will square off against Elizabeth at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
