Soccer Game Preview: Dover vs. Pinkerton

Dover hasn't had much luck against Pinkerton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Green Wave will take on the Astros at 4:00 p.m.

On Thursday, Dover didn't have quite enough to beat Exeter and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Pinkerton kept a clean sheet against Hanover on Thursday. They blew past the Bears 4-0. Considering Pinkerton have won five contests by more than three goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Pinkerton and bumps their season record up to 8-0-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Dover, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Dover suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Pinkerton when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Green Wave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
