Baseball Recap: Lake Zurich Takes a Loss

Lake Zurich suffered their biggest loss since March 25th on Monday. They came up short against the Mundelein Mustangs, falling 9-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lake Zurich's loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Mundelein, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-2 record this season.

While Lake Zurich had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
