Sodus waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Finney Falcons get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Spartans have won seven games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Evan Laird was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Gauge Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Sodus always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Sodus' victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Finney, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Sodus will host Lyons at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Finney, they will face off against Greece Arcadia at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
