Normal University kept up with Peoria Notre Dame until halftime on Saturday, but afterwards: not so much. The Irish were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Pioneers. Peoria Notre Dame might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

Peoria Notre Dame's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those four matches. As for Normal University, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-10-4 record this season.

Peoria Notre Dame will head out to take on Champaign Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Normal University, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Metamora at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st.
