Basketball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Find Success

Skidmore-Tynan's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Port Aransas Marlins by a score of 45-36. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 37-34 victory the Marlins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Skidmore-Tynan's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Port Aransas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skidmore-Tynan will take on Refugio at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Refugio will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Skidmore-Tynan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Port Aransas, they will square off against Pettus at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
