There's no place like home for Cactus Shadows, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over the Marcos de Niza Padres on Tuesday. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six  runs or more this season.
 Grayson Headon looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Cactus Shadows got a  massive  performance out of  Evan Hanish, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carter Brown, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-3.
 Cactus Shadows  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 17  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Cactus Shadows pushed their record up to 18-2-1 with the  win, which was their 11th straight  at home. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Marcos de Niza,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Cactus Shadows will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Padres: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday.
