Klein Cain extended their postseason success on Friday against The Woodlands. They had just enough and edged out the Highlanders 2-1. Two seems to be a good number for the Hurricanes as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Connor Haefele tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Blaine Bullard, who got on base in four of his seven plate appearances with one home run.

Klein Cain is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-7-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for The Woodlands, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 29-6-1.
